QUITTERS SPARKLE AND GLITTER AWARDS BALL

10th March 2010 was National No Smoking Day and Fag Ends Knowsley hosted an evening of sparkle and glitter. Over 200 Fag Ends clients were invited to the event to celebrate their success with Fag Ends.  Awards were received for the following categories:  The Longest Quitter, Mr & Mrs Quitter, Pregnant Quitter, Most Serial Quitter, Workplace Quitter and Family Quitters.

The evening, which was held at the Huyton Suite in Knowsley, was a real celebration of the quitter's success and the hard work of the Fag Ends advisors who helped these people achieve their goals.  Recognition was also given to those who host the venues where the Fag Ends groups are held.

BREAKING THE CHAINS

As the theme for National No Smoking Day was 'Breaking the Chains' Roy Castle Fag Ends Liverpool teamed up with Kenyon Fraser and held a stop smoking event in Williamson Square, Liverpool City Centre.  At the exciting event there was an escapologist breaking free from chains to highlight the theme of 'breaking free' from cigarettes.  Fag Ends advisors were on hand to take carbon monoxide readings and encourage new clients into the service.
