Part Six

Ever since then the tobacco industry have had to fight and try and keep me going.  There have been so many barriers with lots of research happening over the years trying to prove I’m bad, including evidence being found that I am dangerous for pregnant mothers to have, so much for when back in the beginning, people thought my Grandpa Tobacco enhanced fertility.  Organisations like the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation constantly research lung cancer saying that I’m the biggest cause.  This and other research has resulted in me being dropped from advertising, banned from being smoked in public places and generally people attending support groups like ‘FagEnds’ in order to dump me!
Well all I can say is if you do try to dump me then ‘Good Luck’ but I warn you that, I Ciggie, am very very hard to get rid of!!!!! But with the right support you will manage it so get along to your local NHS stop smoking service, which for those of you who live in Liverpool or Knowsley is Roy Castle Fag Ends!
